Organization
VIVA Trust is organized into three major bodies: the Board of Trustees, the Executive Committee, and the Administrative Unit.
The Executive Committee, presided over by Roberto Artavia L., with Antonio Espinoza, Frank Gulich and Paul Rice as directors, and Peter Fuchs – president of the Advisory Committe of the VIVA Trust since it’s creation until June 2008 - as protector. The executive team is charged with designing, implementing, and controlling the Trust's strategy. The protector ensures that the strategy agrees with the wishes expressed by the grantor at the time the trust was established.
The Board of Trustees is in charge of managing the assets in accordance with the strategy set forth by the Executive Committee.
The Administrative Unit, VIVA Services, provides the necessary support services to the Executive Committee and its members.
